Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a report of the Director – Environment, Paul Barton, presented by the Licensing Officer, Josh Cain, and Licensing Manager, Joanne Brockley, which detailed an application for a Premises Licence for Haigh Barn, Willoughby Farm, Meadow Pit Lane, Haigh, Wigan, WN2 1LQ.
The application sought to provide the following licensing activities:

The Sub-Committee was advised that Greater Manchester Police and the Council’s Trading Standards and Licensing teams had made representations by way of requesting that additional conditions be attached to the licence, should it be granted, and these had been agreed by the applicants. A copy of the conditions had been circulated to Members prior to the meeting. Two representations had also been received from residents objecting to the application.
The applicants and their representative attended the meeting and answered questions of the Sub-Committee.

In reaching its decision, the Sub-Committee considered the representations received, the national guidance issued by the Home Officer, the Local Authority’s Licensing Policy and the steps it considered appropriate for the promotion of the Licensing Objectives.
Resolved: The Sub-Committee grants the application for a Premises Licence subject to the additional conditions proposed by the Responsible Authorities. |
