Consultation process
Consultation carried out with the sector, we
have had
several discussions within the VCFSE sector to gauge
their view on Wigan Council setting up a community
lottery. This has included:
• 2 Workshops Sessions attended by a range of VCSE
organisation’s – hosted by Gatherwell
• Received 92 responses to questionnaire
• Email responses from staff/elected members
• Featured on DFC (Deal for Communities) weekly newsletter
(sent to 750 contacts)
• Spoken with Wigan and Leigh Hospice, who have their own
successful community lottery and would like to explore how we could
work together
