The best way to contact your MP is to write to him or her at the House of Commons. All MPs have Westminster offices and will make arrangements for their mail to be dealt with or redirected when they are away from London, so it is better to write to them there.

The Borough is divided into four constituencies. These are detailed as follows:

• Leigh and Atherton (Astley (part of), Atherton South and Lilford, Atherton North, Golborne and Lowton West, Leigh Central and Higher Folds, Leigh South, Leigh West (part of), Lowton East and Tyldesley and Mosley Common (part of) wards).
• Makerfield (Abram, Ashton in Makerfield South, Atherton South and Lilford (part of), Bryn with Ashton in Makerfield North, Hindley, Hindley Green, Leigh West (part of), Orrell, Winstanley and Worsley Mesnes wards).
• Wigan (Aspull, New Springs and Whelley, Douglas, Ince, Pemberton, Shevington with Lower Ground and Moor, Standish with Langtree, Wigan Central, Wigan West wards).
• Worsley and Eccles (Astley (part of), Tyldesley and Mosley Common (part of) wards).
